We recommend sellers to offer to ship the wine, as this will enable:
- Access to far more potential buyers, as the item is not restricted by a pick up location.
- Most often, trades can be completed faster as you can ship the wine as soon as the buyer has paid. In this way, you do not have to find a time where you have the opportunity to meet and hand over the wine.
- By targetting a larger audience of buyers, you will typically be able to achieve higher selling prices.
Secure shipping
Once you as a seller have enabled Shipping, buyers of your wine will be presented with the opportunity to get the wine shipped.
After the wine has been paid for, you buy the postage and fill in the track and trace details on the trade on ShareWine, to make it easier for the buyer to track the shipping process. If the buyer has paid by credit card, we will pay the cost for the postage to your account together with your money for the wine sold.

Valid packaging
Make sure to wrap your wine in approved shipping boxes for wine. These have room dividers, which protect the wine, and therefore you can be absolutely sure that the wine will arrive safely.
NOTE: If you do not use valid boxes for shipping wine, you're shipment can't be insured or covered in case of damage og breakage. |
