Once you have decided to sell a wine on ShareWine, we recommend that you make a good ad. In this way, a potential buyer has the opportunity to form a good overall impression, and this can contribute to more people bidding on your ad, and thus you achieve a better sale.
Here are some tips to make a good ad:

Tip 1:
Take good pictures
Take at least one, but preferably several, good pictures, which show the bottle, its condition, cork and visible label. This gives a better impression and the opportunity to see the condition of the wine, and thus more people will be interested, as they can see the product better. See here how to take good pictures |

Tip 2:
Write a text about the wine
It is important to write a good text about the wine that you want to sell. This way, the buyer can get a good insight into what wine you are selling. For example, you can write about the wine's history, notes, review points, storage of the wine and condition.

Tip 3:
Price the wine
Here you can choose whether there should be a fixed price or whether your wine should be auctioned. Check how to price the wine for inspiration for this.
At auction, we recommend that you avoid putting the wine at exactly the amount you want to sell for. If you set the price lower than what you hope for, there is a greater chance that you will get more interested buyers bidding. And the more people who bid, the higher the selling price ends up being. |

Tip 4:
Offer to send the wine It is a good idea that it is possible to send the wine to the buyer. This increases your chance of selling your wine at a good price, and allows for bids despite geographical distance, and thus more potential buyers. Many more will bid on your wine if you ship it, rather than just offering pickup.
